WELCOME TO SAADI GYMNASTICS - IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR VISIT

A HUGE WELCOME FROM SAADI GYMNASTIC TO CUSTOMERS BOTH OLD AND NEW!

If you are receiving this email it means that you have signed up to one of our award winning gymnastics classes.

We would like to thank you for choosing SAADI Gymnastics and to wish you a warm welcome to the club. We wanted to take this opportunity to give you a few details about attending your class with the aim of making the next few months as easy and enjoyable as possible.

FINDING US

SAADI is located at Redbourn Leisure Centre, 75 Dunstable Road, Redbourn, AL37PP. There is plenty of free parking on site.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING

If you are attending Recreational classes then please wear either leggings, shorts, tracksuit bottoms or a leotard. If wearing a leotard please make sure the gymnast can take it on and off on their own in case they need to go to the toilet. Please wear slip on shoes such as flipflops or sliders that can be easily removed. Please ensure your gymnast has a water bottle. It is very disruptive for the whole group if the coach has to get water.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE - GYMNASTS

We will still be asking parents and gymnasts of our Recreational Classes to wait outside until they’re asked to come in (Pre-school/Parent & Child please come into reception). Please queue on the path where indicated. When it’s time to come in gymnasts will be directed single file to the reception desk to register. They will need to say their name and in return they will be told which colour group they are in. The gymnast will then walk into the hall and place their shoes, water bottle and Awards book into the box that corresponds with their group.

For those of you who have pre-ordered merchandise and Award books, these will be distributed at the first session.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE - ADULTS

Unless you are attending Parent & Child, you do not have to stay on the site whilst your gymnast is attending a class. Those adults choosing to stay can reach the viewing gallery by using either the stairs or the lift. Although the rules surrounding number restrictions have been lifted we may still choose to regulate the numbers allowed upstairs albeit at a higher number than the 10 that were allowed previously.

If you are upstairs in the viewing gallery please be mindful that others also want to see their children. If you have been watching your gymnasts for 5/10 minutes please take a seat and let others take a turn.

AT THE END OF THE SESSION

Please leave the viewing gallery 5 minutes before the end of the session. No adults will be allowed to wait inside the leisure centre. Please wait outside on the other side of the queuing barrier like last term. Your gymnast will be brought out by colour group but won’t be allowed to leave until you have acknowledged the coach with them. Please therefore don’t stand too far away!

NATIONAL GYMNASTICS AWARD SCHEME (NatGAP)

All gymnasts (except Parent & Child) will be working towards achieving progress against the NatGAP Scheme. At the end of each class the coaches will sit down with their group and assess achievements. Progress is rewarded using stickers so you can clearly see how your gymnast is developing against core skills (please note that stickers are not awarded every week!). When sections are completed you can buy a medal from the club shop.

THE CLUB SHOP

The club shop is located behind reception. We have a variety of club merchandise available, as well as a selection of preloved leotards. Feel free to take a look when your gymnast is in their class. You can also purchase merchandise at the online shop.

All that’s left for us to say is thank you once again for choosing SAADI and the whole team look forward to seeing you next week.

Kind regards

SAADI GYMNASTICS
